Ministry Preparation Assessment

This assessment is Lamoka's personality and spiritual gifts test all rolled into one. We require you to take this assessment in order to help you prepare effectively for ministry at Lamoka this summer. We strongly believe that a staff member that understands themselves (their gifts and personality traits) better will serve God better. We also believe that understanding personalities and gifts better, will allow our staff to help our campers grow in Christ more effectively.

Personality Assessment ("The Boxes")

Info & Instructions: In the following section you will see a number of statements. Answer each for yourself - either agreeing with the statement or disagreeing with the statement. Please answer as honestly as possible. No one will be looking through your responses. If you have worked at Lamoka (or a different Christian camp) in the past, you may use camp as the context in which to answer these questions. In other words, if you are asked how you would act if complimented by someone, assume that is happening in the context of camp. If you have NOT worked at a Christian camp before, the context for each question should be your home church. If you do not know how to answer a question, ask someone close to you what they think you would do or say. Sometime, others are better at evaluating our behavior and predicting our responses than we are.

Love Language Assessment

We all feel loved in different ways and there are different ways to show someone they are loved. This portion of the assessment will help you understand yourself better and will help you encourage and love other members of the Body of Christ.

Sincere compliments make me feel more loved than a gift
