Position & Availability

In the section below, you will be able to select the position you are applying for. Please note that your selections will be taken into consideration, but the Board and Administrator will place you according to the needs of the camp. You may also be asked to fill several different positions throughout the course of a summer. Also, we are looking for individuals who can commit to work the entire summer (8 weeks for support staff and 6 weeks for counselors). If you have extenuating circumstances that keep you from working one or more weeks, please contact the office after you apply. You must be at least 14 years old to apply and to work at Lamoka Baptist Camp. The number in parentheses indicates how old you need to be to work in each position. Statement & Policy Agreement

Doctrinal Statement

We believe in: 1. The verbal plenary inspiration and authority of the Scriptures. 2. God as a Trinity of three Persons and one essence. 3. The Deity and virgin birth of Jesus Christ. 4. The personality and Deity of the Holy Spirit. 5. The fall of man, the total depravity and subsequent guilt and universally lost condition of the human race. 6. Salvation as the free gift of God by grace through faith in the substitutionary blood atonement of Christ. 7. Permanency of salvation once received. 8. The physical, bodily resurrection of Christ from the dead. 9. The universal, invisible Church composed of all believers. 10. The local Church composed of immersed believers organized for the edification of the saints and the spreading of the Gospel. 11. The local Church as God’s primary instrument in accomplishing His work in this age. 12. The gifts of the Holy Spirit for this age which include Evangelist, Pastor-teacher, helps, administration, exhortation, giving, showing mercy, faith. The sign gifts gradually ceased as the New Testament Scriptures were completed and their authority became established. 13. The separation of the believer from all religious apostasy, all worldly and sinful pleasures, practices and associations. 14. The personality of Satan and other spirit beings both good and evil. 15. The visible, personal, pre-tribulation, pre-millennial return of the Lord Jesus Christ. 16. The resurrection and everlasting conscious blessedness of the saved, and everlasting punishment of the unsaved.

Morality Statement

Morality Statement: We, the board of Lamoka Baptist Camp, do hereby affirm: 1. That God’s will as evidenced at birth will serve as the determining factor for sexual identification - We require all boys born as boys and all girls born as girls to conduct themselves accordingly. 2. That all sexual activity outside of marriage is sinful. 3. That marriage is between one man and one woman. Any violation of these standards immediately disqualifies individuals from employment, or participation in, activities on campus.
